Faith, Partnership & Commissioning: Advancing Chaplaincy and a Drug-Free Generation in Kenya and Africa

DFGN Foundation Strengthens Faith-Based Partnerships for Spiritual Welfare and Community Transformation

A New Chapter in Chaplaincy, Humanitarian Service, and Drug-Free Communities

The Drug Free Generation Network Foundation (DFGN Foundation) was honoured to host a special visitation by His Excellency James Mercy, President of Regium Chaplain International Ministries, and His Excellency Tomisha Gray, President of Life Humanitarian USA, for discussions on collaboration and strategic partnerships aimed at advancing faith-based empowerment, spiritual welfare, humanitarian service, and drug prevention in Kenya and across Africa.

The engagement marked an important milestone in strengthening our commitment to holistic community transformation—recognizing the role of faith, spiritual guidance, mentorship, and compassionate service in supporting individuals and families affected by substance abuse and other social challenges.

During this significant occasion, DFGN Foundation formally joined the WHOOP partnership, opening new opportunities for collaboration in chaplaincy, humanitarian outreach, and community empowerment.

The event also featured a commissioning and ordination into chaplaincy ministry in Kenya and Africa, marking a significant step in expanding spiritual care, pastoral support, and chaplaincy services within communities.

We are delighted to recognize Anthony Bwana, Founder and Chairman of DFGN Foundation, who was appointed Ambassador Chaplain—a responsibility that further strengthens his commitment to serving vulnerable communities, promoting recovery, nurturing hope, and advancing the mission of a drug-free generation.

At DFGN Foundation, we believe that lasting transformation requires more than awareness; it requires hope, compassion, spiritual nourishment, practical opportunities, and partnerships that restore dignity and empower lives.

We look forward to working alongside our partners to expand faith-based programmes, strengthen community chaplaincy, support recovery and reintegration, and build healthier, safer, and more resilient communities throughout Kenya and Africa.

Together, through faith, partnership, and service, we are building a drug-free generation and transforming lives.

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” — Psalm 11:3
